I have held up Mark Sandford as the best Governor in the United States. Today I call for him to step down as Governor of South Carolina for the sake of himself, his family, his state and his party.

It is hard enough to go through something like this in any position but a very public position as governor of our state, it makes the situation that much harder. I ask you Mr Sandford, as a South Carolina resident to step aside and get to the business of the most important job you have ever had, husband and father.
